I was born in Sorengo, on the outskirts of Lugano, and I live in Pregassona. I am originally from Banco, Canton Ticino, where I spent most of my life. I am a therefore a Ticino native, but I would prefer to define myself as a cosmopolitan, since I can easily adapt to international circumstances. Additionally, my mother is from Paris and my father is from Zurich, so they have instilled in me a mix of values that I would say are not “local”.
Entrepreneurship. It may seem corny or even boring, but I love entrepreneurship, in all its facets. What fascinates me is the fact that everyone of us has the potential to become an entrepreneur and from this science you can learn everything.
Languages. Different alphabets, etymological pronunciations, accents, syntax and spelling patterns. Each of these elements makes me extremely curious and I could spend hours talking about them, especially when it comes to comparing languages.
Sports.“Mens sana in corpore sano”, that is, you must have a healthy mind in a healthy body, so the Latins said! For me this translates into being passionate about tennis, wakeboarding and alpine skiing.
Netflix. I love watching Netflix: if I find the right TV show, I can spend hours enjoying it. This also means that I have to catch up on all the other tasks afterwards, so yes, it can be quite dangerous.
